If there's one thing that I may consider to have been missing in my life over the past few years, mainly since I started college, it is the ability to empty my mind into words. Just like most "kids" these days, I hate actually writing in a journal, on paper that is, because I am no where near as fast as typing. However, I have definitely missed the ability to empty my mind in text format. Therefore, I have decided to start blogging again.
My life in a nutshell right now:
-Starting my 3rd year of college at the University of North Texas
-Changed officially to a Music Education major
-One best friend lives in Washington
--The other lives in Merida, Mexico for the next 4 months
-I will be working at Best Buy for 2 years come this October, and I STILL love it
-Full time student, part/full time worker
-Still going to Crossroads Bible Church
-Still live at home because it is much more friendly, monetarily speaking
-God is just as good as always
-Still single and fine with it
I think Craig blogging again is the main inspiration for me doing so as well. I realize that few people will read this, but like I said, this is mainly my way of relaxing and clearing my mind of thoughts. Don't worry though I do plan to keep it as drama free as possible. For those who may read this I will apologize for the randomness that will be intermixed in this blog, for that is how I am.
Some things God has taught me lately
-Patience is always a virtue
-Trust in HIM will get you through any situation
-Life isn't all it's cracked up to be, but He is
-Everthing is 2nd to Him
-His will and way is much better then my own
-He never changes
-Life will ALWAYS throw you curves, but He is an all powerful bat
-It is only a bad day if you make it that way
Those are probably some of the biggest lessons that God has taught me continuously over the past 2 years or so. I will leave you all with this final thought that has encouraged me tremendously over these past few months.
"No eye has seen, No ear has heard, No mind has conceived, What GOD has planned for those who LOVE HIM" 1 Cor. 2:9
